He is also the Editor -in - chief of Inkanyiso: Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences. His teaching and research areas - where he has published and supervised several postgraduate (M&D) research - includes: Information seeking, Informetrics, LIS education and training, ICT4D/social/community informatics, knowledge management-IKS, Information ethics, scholarly communication/publishing, research methods and inforpreneurship.
