Jerry Le Roux, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Studies at the University of Zululand, South Africa. He joined the department from the department of history in 2003 and holds a DPhil in South African political history. He currently teaches Visual Basic web programming and multi-media to both under-graduate and post graduate students. His current research interest involves the history of school libraries in South Africa since the beginning of the 20th century and the role and influence of cloud applications in secondary education.
